Who we are
Our legacy began in 1974 when Portage View Farms was established on our acreage in historic Fort Langley by my father, a retired doctor of Biology. Growing up surrounded by decades of experience, a passion for immersing myself in nature and bringing communities together, I began investing in a successful agribusiness. We are proud to offer client-oriented consulting services and a curated selection of premium agricultural goods and high quality livestock, serving farmers and enthusiasts alike. In service of heritage breeds, we are dedicated to fostering a thriving agricultural community where you can access expert advice on specialty livestock. We are likely to have an inventory, or connect with our farm network so we can supply it.
If you share a love for biodiversity, produce and hard work with your hands, our service could be the perfect avenue to take your interests to the next level. Inspired by the self-sufficiency shown by local farmers over the Covid-19 pandemic, I saw an opportunity to connect farms throughout British Columbia, including Vancouver Island, Bowen Island, the Sunshine Coast and the Interior with essential resources like wholesale fields and carefully selected livestock. Starting with poultry and rabbits, my network quickly expanded to include a wider range of breeds and species. With a commitment to the vibrant future of sustainable agriculture, we have built a transportable rabbitary, and now specialise in specialty waterfowl and produce, using our land creatively. Each year we produce hatching and eating eggs, berries, fruit, vegetables and the next generation of young animals. With our abundance, we serve small-scale farms reach independent objectives.
At the Greenfield Foundation, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. We’re more than just a farm; we are a hub for agriculture enthusiasts and a resource for those seeking to connect with nature.
